just booked my place for the nail tech programme with creative in edinburgh and can't wait to go, had a friend who needed a bit of maintainence on a set of nails I did for her a week ago and boy are they awful!!! :sad: I looked at my dodgy set I had applied and if it was'nt for the fact that creative called me and booked my place for september then I would have given up! Please promise me anyone who has done the course that it is a brilliant course, im pinning my hopes on it, I am good at applying gel and am at present doing my vtct but when shown how to do acylic we were not properly shown how to create the pefect smile line, and this is what my friend wanted,it was more of a grimace!! :Scared: she kindly said she loved them but noooooooooooooooo way!! so if anyone has done the 12 day at edinburgh please let me know how it went, im so excited about it.

I sometimes worry I am a bit strict, :smack: but one of my last students commented that I was strict enough that they would learn everything and fun enough that there was a good atmosphere on the course.....I will try and maintain that !!!

I did my training in Glasgow and my educator was excellent, really good at explaining everything and ensuring that everyone understood all the details and everything.
I'm sure the Edinburgh educators are just the same (as well as the others around the country), although I haven't had the pleasure of meeting them.
The course is brilliant and you wil have a ball. There is a lot of theory, but if you want to do nails, and do them properly, this is the only way to go about it. I was the same as you - I felt my previous education at college, though mostly great, lacked somewhat in the enhancement section - and I loved it.

:hug: thanks everyone, will keep you posted on how it all goes, got a holiday on the 22nd aug to bulgaria for a week so I will be totally refreshed (i hope) by the time the course starts on the 18th sept soooooooooooooooooooo impatiently excited!!
