I have noticed that alot use custom blend on nails all the time. I only use this on very short nails or to extend there nail bed, so most of the time I use clear acrylic. My timing for infils is about 1hr 30 minutes with a design so is using a custom blend going to reduce my timing because I know a few beauticians can do infils with a design in 45 minutes and they always use custom blend.

I don't see what difference it would make to your timings.

I totally agree with Izzidoll, the color of powder has nothing to do with timing, timing comes down to your technique.

If you are wanting to reduce your timing, take a look at each step you are doing to see where you are using a lot of time.
Generally many techs take too much time in filing, is what I have found when helping others.
There are so many little things that techs do that take up time and they don't usually realise they are doing it. If you take a hard look at each step and think about ways to improve/cut down time without compromising quality, this might help you to work out where you are spending too much time.
