I'll have to look at the list of ingredients but it's blooming amazing. As soon as I put in my hand it went numb. Had to wax with my feet the rest of the day.

Seriously, it's fab!

Will you be doing a course in that soon? :D

Thanks everyone for your replies, and Jack I shall book a place on a DD in London, will be very very helpful!

So the numbing cream turned out to be good (your parcel with it in arrived the day I trained with you). Shall have to look into trying it.

Also if you want to find out about a range of waxes you should have a look at this news story thread about the UK's first one day event dedicated to waxing and hair removal! A day full of talks, demonstrations, inspiration and networking. And also the chance to play with some of the leading waxes on the market.

Hi baggybear

It's going to be launched at some point next week so keep an eye on their FB page and they will post the details on there.

Hi Fozzyo, just had a look at the link now, how very exciting! I see it was started from your ideas, has a ticket price been decided?

Well done Matt. Hope it goes well.

Who are the leading wax brands you've got attending?

I think its roughly £70.I don't think Perron are there surprisingly so if you are particularly interested in Perron you will still be better at a discovery day which I think is about £20 and that gets taken off any purchases as well as samples and training.

So far there is Adam & Eve, Alexandria (for Sugaring), Beelicious (from America), Berodin, Carron Lab, Depileve, HD Brows, Outback Organics, Shave Doctor (cut throat / wet shave products), Spapliance Orb (mini heater), Waxperts (from Ireland) and Waxxxpress.

With talks and demo's covering a host of hair removal topics, including a talk by SalonGeeks very own Ruth Mills on being a Transgender Friendly Salon.

And each delegate will get to go home with plenty of goodies and products - much in the same way as those who attended S2's 'The Event' did.

We really hope to build this up to become the event for hair removal specialists to visit each year to top up skills, check out new products and find suppliers they may not have looked at before.

Sounds fabulous! Go Ruth!

No they're not; Perron Rigot chose not to take part in the show.

Jack runs fabulous Discovery Days; very informative and he makes it so much fun.
