Any extra tips or suggestions welcome xx

No u don't need it for doing 2 tans in a row Hun :) I personally would advise u to get 1 tho....that's my nxt buy as I'm finding that doing a few tans in a row is causing everything else to get dirty with tanning solution lol also it would depend on if ur mobile or not...im not mobile so it's easy for me to set up extractor fan and ideal as my tent is always in the same place :) xxx

You don't need an extractor fan when your mobile in my opinion, I have done a tanning party of 12 without and have not had any complaints, If i was working from a salon I would get one though x

Hey hun where did you do the 12 tans and did you have no overspray what so over? if so what solution/gun ect do you use- the reason i ask is I done 12 in a row im mobile so was at a clients house I ony use about 40-50ml of solution per person but there was no window able to be opened in the room so no ventilation but when I had finished the room was pretty misty and i had to wipe down all surfaces as they were covered in a mist :(

Hello

I know this might be a stupid question but with an extractor fan does this not remove the overspray and if so o have been taught as I dnt spray tan the neck it's the overspray then would that not reck the tan

Thanks
Austin x

if your gun is set correctly you will have very little overspray, you should be spraying around 6 to 8 inches from the skin and aiming to use no more than 50ml when you first start tanning with practice you can get it down to 35 ml depending on the size of the client, (i am a 75 ml bloke lol )
we visited a salon on friday and watched a therapist do a spray tan and she was standing around a metre away from the client blasting solution everywhere and making a real mess of the room she was using, she was only getting 8 tans to the litre and wondered why :| she had not been trained by us i might add,
Dawn (my Bizz/life partner) reset the gun, showed her how we tan and her and her boss was amazed at the difference and the fact that there was no mess, there customer/model was delighted with the finished results and phoned us on Monday to thank us for such a lovely tan
You will definitely not need an extractor for 2 tans if you have your technique right and your gun set correctly

I only have my gun open a quarter turn and use about 50ml solution per person and I stand the recopmmended 6-8 inches away but like I said above I had awful over spray after doing 12 clients in a row any advice?

12 s a few more than 2 that the original poster was asking about LOL
but you should not get AWFUL overspray , is your gun just (inches) inside the cubicle when you spray ? and have you got the client stood at the front of the tent or at the back ??

Have you done the couch roll test? Last week I did a tan party at my daughters place, no room for my tent I sprayed everyone in her bathroom which is all white tiles.
I had the girls stand in the bath and after all 8 of them there was some over spray on the wall tiles directly behind where the girls had stood and in the bottom of the bath itself. Now none of the girls are big, they are all personal trainers but I used 30 to 35 mil per tan.

Steve at Nouvatan, do you suggest client stand at front or back of tent, and should your gun be in the tent slightly, i am getting bad overspray and using too much tan about 150mls- 200mls.Spoke to Dawn and did what she said set gun at 8 sprayed 6-8" from client. when i try and use less solution they complain there not tanned, when there happy with tan i have to use 150ml or more. lots of over spray too, window wide open in room.Do you come out and do demos at salons? I am in Wakefield.I am switching to Nouvatan as soon as i use up the current solution i have. Can't work out where i'm going wrong.:Scared:

Just by way of feedback on your website, I cannot find anything that says where you are based and it's not obvious from the contact number as it's a mobile number.

Website feedback:

On your Blog your 'all about waxing' repeats all your 'all about facials' info there is no info about waxing there at all.

No probs I'm actually not working anymore but thanks all the same

Thats a shame hun, I only wanted to point it out incase you hadn't noticed, I know with my website after looking at it for so long I tend to not see the simple things, then when looked at with fresh eyes it's all clear.

No probs :) thanks :)
