Hi guys
I have a quick question . I'm supposed to be going on Espa deep tissue training in a week and have been asked today at work to sign a document that if I leave the company within 6 months of completion of the course I'll have to pay £300 back to the company, that's the cost of the course. as far as I know all the espa trainings are free same as elemis as we sell their products etc. is that correct ? thanks in advance xx

The cost is to your employer regardless of what the course costs. If you leave they may have to send someone else on training which will cost them in lost revenue, salary, etc. I pay for staff to stay in a hotel and all expenses x

There are no expenses, only petrol. we don't expenses for lunch etc. x

So you're out of salon while training and not generating any income. Regardless, training a member of staff costs a salon. I don't know how espa work but many companies offer free training for a certain number of therapists. It's perfectly normal to request a member of staff pay back the cost to the salon for training.
