Hi experts,

I am making clip-on extensions with Celebrity Elite wefts that I plan to cut and sew myself. This is the first time I am buying online, since I have read the rave reviews on Celebrity Elite.

My hair is honey-blond, similar in colour to Beyoncé or Mariah Carey. I would say it is the exact color of actual honey. According to the colour chart on the Celebrity Elite website, colour 613/27 seems the closest, but when I looked for it on the order form, the colour code is not included.

I am planning on getting the 22inch weft, but I have read numerous posts about matting problems concerning this length. Although it seemed to also be due to the fact that they used the light blond shades in that length.

Please help me choose the right colour and possible alternative colours. I could always dye it, if it's a shade too light.

Thank you so much for your help!

613 is too light for the pics you have up.

Can you not send some of your hair to the company for them to match?
trying to match a colour to pics is hard as each computer screen or phone might show colours brighter or darker them they actually are.

Do they have it listed as "SB/27"? 613 is sometimes also referred as SB. Here's our 27/SB

Standard Blonde hair extensions are more prone to matting for some reason, I think it goes through more processing as the all hair that is donated starts off very dark. This would explain why blonde hair is more expensive. If they have a remy blend, opt for that as it would cut the chances of matting.

Hope this helps :)

There are two colors with 613. One is a pale blond, colour code: 613, this is definitely too light. The other is colour code: 613/27, the SB-27 mentioned in the previous comment is similar, but neither 613/27 nor SB-27 appear as an option on the order form.

These are the choices Celebrity Elite gives:
Blond Colour codes: 22, 24, f14/22, f14/24, f16/613, f18/22, f18/613
Other Colour Codes: 10, 12, 135, 14, 16, 18, 27, 30, f1b/33, f2/6, f22/30, f27/33, f27/613, f4/27, f4/30

Not all these colour codes appear on their website colour chart. Someone mentioned sending in a sample of my hair. Is this something that Celebrity Elite does? I can't find this info. on their website. Please let me know if you've done this before or which of these colour codes you would suggest. If it's off by a shade, I'll dye my own hair to match. I just want to make sure it is a honey blond.

Thanks! :)

Colour 16 is usually a Honey Blonde

You are best off emailing them to see if they offer a colour matching service, most hair extension companies do as matching the colour is probably the biggest obstacle. Also ask if they offer a free colour swapping service if it turns out to be the wrong colour, again many online hair extension distributors offer this service :)

Great! Thanks! I really appreciate the quick replies! I will follow your advice. Thank you, thank you, thank you!:D
