What do you say? I usually say something like:

They will last until your natural lash naturally falls out. This is different for everyone. The initial look will last 2-4 weeks, depending on aftercare. This is usually when people get a top up. You would still have a lot of lashes left at this point, just not as much as when they were first done.

as an extension wearer, not technician, I thinkw hatyou are saying is a good description.

I know someone who is saying it takes her far less time to apply than is physically possible, and then saying they will last up to 3 months. I getit that your lash life cycle is prob 3 months but if i didnt getmine touched for 3 months id have about 2 left on, lol.

I've had mine done since Feb and always go for infills around 2-3 weeks time. I like mine very full and am prone to picking  but that was the advice given to me (3 weeks) so that why i do that.

Sorry if this is all gobeldygook xxx

Kim don't pick!

Thanks for that. Glad it made sense. I get people asking how long they last and if they last for a couple of months. I say Yes and No, then go into what I typed above.

I know, I feel awful after I pick. I really try not to though.

I would feel misled by someone who says they last a few months, and thats why clients are asking.

:D xx

I tell clients that they will last the life of their lashes. Obviously lashes fall out at different stages so they need to come back every 2-3 weeks for an infill.
Some people will come back after 2 weeks needing a lot replaced whilst others will not need as many. My friend has just popped round my house and i did her lashes 2 weeks ago. They look as good as the day i did them but i've done them before when she's come back after 2 weeks with about 2 lashes left! She was using mascara which i told her not to and she has got round to changing her eye-make up remover to a non-oily one!
It really does depend on what stage their growth was when you applied them too. Sometimes they will have them done and there are hardly any mid length lashes and you end up having to put them on the longer lashes mostly so these won't last as long.
So it's really all down to individual clients. Look at their lashes first to see how long they should last and then tell them that if they follow the correct aftercare that they should last the life of their lashes. Then explain that different clients will lose different amounts of lashes and they may need to come back after 2 weeks or it may be 3 weeks.

When I actually see clients lashes I can judge if there are a lot of mid growth lashes, etc. Recently I've been getting a lot of texts and emails asking how long.
