Facial/spa promotional ideas!

I own a salon/spa and the salon side of things is very successful. We are almost always booked for hair services and nail services! We have always offered spa/skin care services--facials, back treatments, microdermabrasion, chemical exfoliation, etc. We recently added full-body salt scrubs and mud wraps to our menu, and hired a massage therapist. We have been going strong for almost three years now, but I'd really like to see the spa/skin care services explode. We mention our spa services to every client, advertise on Facebook, put it on our street sign, invite every bride to a special spa party, suggest monthly facials to every bride, request word-of-mouth referrals and reviews on Facebook and Yelp...but we rarely have spa services requested.

What are some of your promotional ideas to advertise these services and get booked up?? What can we improve on to get people in for these services?

What do your facials consist of??

I try and make my facials as indulgant as possible, lovely head neck and shoulder massage usually goes down a treat an makes them rebook! I have had too many facials that literally consist of slapping the products !! It does get good skin results but people need to feel like they get value for money as well!

I also find that a free brow shape and tint is a good add on service as you usually get them booking back for that aswell x
