We've spent an average of just under £80 a week since August. I do ww, and he loves berries so we spend a fortune on fruit and veg
This includes absolutely everything food and grocery-wise - toilet rolls, cleaning products, shampoos, etc. And is for 2 adults and 1 ten year old - who eats like a horse! Breakfast is usually either bacon sandwiches, porridge, overnight oats, banana pancakes or just fruit. Our daughter has a packed lunch and we eat 'leftovers' for lunch.
I probably shop differently to most people - when something that we buy and like is on offer, then I'll buy a few of that item to get us to the next deal. It means that we might spend more one week, but less for the next few. We have a farmshop near us that does fruit and veg at an amazing price - massive butternut squash for £1, a dozen apples for about £1. We buy the 25kg sacks of potatoes which last for ages. We mainly shop at aldi and supplement the things that we can't get at sainsburys or tesco. And I might buy a few snacks and biscuits at weightwatchers
I also do quite a bit of batch cooking and freezing - my partner works evenings so doing this means he can have a proper meal at work. We also tend to use these meals for lunch as well. We have things like bolognese, steak pie, chicken paella, pasta with meatball, etc.
I buy toilet rolls from farmfoods (Nicki brand) so get a few packs if I'm passing; they're cheaper than aldi and just as good.
