Hi all fellow geeks,
my sister-in-law is disatisfied with her current salon, so coming to me (a considerable drive!) Basically they used to be an Aveda salon, obviously couldn't afford it anymore and have gradually cheapened her hair colour each time telling her some bogus reason to change brand!
she currently has a plum-y red colour on but would like to be a natural brown with 'golden overtones' about a base 6ish I use wella but am open to try something else in the long run. She has white roots
anyone got any advice please - always difficult with family members:irked:

please, anyone?

What base is the red and how vibrant?

My friend was a bright copper red and eventually wants to get bk to blonde..but we're lifting her gradually to golden brown 1st, I used magma /89 (pearl) in foils to gradually lift it..
It lifted well but always have a toner handy incase it's not the colour ur aiming for x

thanks, i'm discussing this same issue on two threads at the moment - greedy eh?
she has a base 5/6 plummy/purple-y red and wants a brown about level 5/6 with golden hue..
fairly short curly hair so shouldn't be too difficult:irked:
