Hi!! I want a gel thats easier to use and won't run down the side walls while i get my times up. I've seen Gel Essentials (which i saw on facebook) have one that doesnt run inbetween doing each nail so think this will be help me alot while i get the hang of this. Is there any other gels that would be good for me to try? I've never heard of gel essentials but very tempted! X

What are you using just now and is it gel or gel polish? :)

Just gel polish (shellac) and ive had a go with gel starter kit from salon services, which i know will probably wont be the best but i just wanted to get the feel for gel and i do like it, but just want to know if there are 'easier' to use ones that dont run as fast as some? Xxxx

Are you training or trained? Shellac is a name brand, not a type of gel. Gel isn't easy. If it was, no one would pay us to do it. It's a matter of good training, dedication, and practice.

Err yes i am trained thank you very much. I use shellac and acrylic, havent touched gel in over five years..that was all. I saw a thread from a while ago about there being gels that dont run as much so thought id get more upto date recommendations.

Ink London have some great gel colours but my absolute fav is The Gel Bottle , I've been converted to them from shellac, I and my clients adore them!

The posts you've seen about gels 'staying put' are probably about hard gels.
To ensure you don't flood the sidewall with gel polish always use very thin layers and make sure to stir / shake the bottle well beforehand.
If you still have issues try flash curing after each finger :)
