i tried to do my 1st set of gel overlays and they peeled almost instantly. I used Cuccio. I put primer on nails first then applied the white gel for the tip, and then 2 layers of pink. I cured them each time between layers and wiped them off at the end.
I wondered if it is the product or if it's because I cleaned the brush between coats with acetone? Or is it something else I'm not doing correctly?
Can anyone help?
Thanks

I don't use the gels but know Cuccio products.
If you state which gels, primer and lamp you used it will help experienced tech's to advise you.

Thanks - have updated post

Instantly? Like how soon? Sounds like a lamp problem.

If it's the T3 led gel it needs the new max pro lamp and the Pronto gels need a uv lamp.

Hi,

I use the T3 LED gels, I've just seen your other post and you say you cure for 20 seconds? Each layer of this gel needs to be cured for 60 seconds in the Max Pro LED lamp. Flash cure by all means but full cure is 60 seconds in this lamp (the consistency is so thick though it doesn't move so you shouldn't need to flash cure) .

I've also previously used the Cuccio T3 UV gels and these need 3 minutes in a UV lamp to cure.

Sounds like you are not curing the product long enough, remember it might look cured but you can't tell unless you have completely followed the guidelines.

Write out your procedure step by step. You shouldn't need to clean the brush between each layer. If I change the colour gel I'm using I give it a quick wipe with the Cuccio anti-bac spray.

Thank you - I used an LED 48W lamp that is brand new. I have a UV lamp and will try again with that. Just the answer I needed.
Thanks for your help.

I think between your reply and Cinderella's I have the answers I needed. I used my 48W LED lamp not my UV lamp and didn't cure them for long enough. The product is the Cuccio Pronto and needs longer. Really grateful for your help.
