hi I'm hoping someone can help.
I use Nubar gelicure and yesterday I had a lady for just file and gel. I've never had any probs before and before she left she was happy and so was I with the treatments. But she came back an hour later and the gel had gone bumpy or it had dents in :/ anyone know what could have caused this?

If it was bumpy and the gel can be imprinted it either wasn't properly cured or equally probable, if you really did no prep, is that there could be barriers on the nail limiting adhesion which has caused pocket lifting.

Could be either from the information you have given.

I always make sure I do prep, cuticles, remove shine etc. And I haven't had probs with them not curing before but maybe I need to check my lamp. I've only had it a few month so It shouldn't be that. She did have a lot of ridges in her nails so could that be it?

Ah ok... You said file and gel which I took to mean zero prep. Glad to hear you didn't mean it!

Curing issue then. Could just have been slightly thicker layers than normal but always good to check your light :)

Aw no I couldn't just literally do file and gel haha. Thanks for your help, hopefully it's just a one off and everyone else's has been fine.

I use gelicure and I had a problem with just one colour...it was going like Orange peel...I used LED lamp and then tryed my UV lamp...and it still did it ...did really thin coats too...when the client got home she went in the bath....and then it started to peel off on 6 fingers....I have sent it back to be tested...I don't have a problem with any of the other colours ...but I carnt be putting on a colour and then it peeling off....I don't have the time to be putting it right...so it could be the gelicure Polish?!?!? X

It might be. I was thinking it could be just the colour. It's not one I use often so that's probably why I haven't noticed before. I'm going to try it out on myself and see how it turns out. Thanks :)
