Hi Everyone,
I normally use Shellac and have had no problems. However, used Gellux on a client as the colours were what she wanted. Vampire Blood. No problems with the base and colour coats until I went to apply the top coat. The brush started taking on the colour, I panicked a bit, then so I should as the brush went rock hard, cured. She was very forgiving as she, herself has done nail courses. Please, can someone advise me? Never had any problems with Shellac

Were you near a window?

I use both and gellux is a lot more light sensitive than Shellacs top coat

I use gel luxe and exactly the same has happened to me!! Why has this happened?

I've used gellux for nearly 5 years now and never had this! The brush on the top coat sometimes takes the colour but only on the deep pigmented colours like vampire blood. Never had it cure though!

I have but I work in a window. That's why I mentioned it, it cures quicker than shellac in a bit of daylight

It's happened to me today but was because of the sun

Yes I was on one hand Blossom, the lady is in a wheelchair so I moved around her. It just seemed to melt the vampire blood colour then went hard....
