Getting more nail clients?

My first post on this site - exciting!
Same here although I can't complain too much I guess I am only at it properly (FB, Instagram, business cards and all) for a month, but in that month I only had 3 appointements so far.. so it is a bit disheartening really ... starting to question things... I don't offer any enhancements, only standard / lux mani-pedi & shellac mani-pedi, so maybe this is the issue... ? What is popular these days?

It seems to differ greatly. I did my first standard pedi last week after being qualified for a year. My clients all want gel polish and L&P

Ladies please don't get disheartened building a client base can take YEARS!! It's not going to happen overnight! Remember Consistency is key!

I had a busy diary this week but unfortunately had several genuine cancellations however I know they will rebook ASAP
I think getting your clients to return regularly is the most important thing. If they aren't returning then ask yourself why.

I use Facebook Insta vista print business cards and a leaflet drop but I used the BIOSCULPTURE information leaflets as opposed to making my own and popped my number on the top introduced myself as the local mobile nail technician. That worked well. I also designed a website on wix which was really easy to do then shared that on Facebook I'm new to nails but had 5 evening bookings (I work 9-5) last week. I did lose a few clients because I don't offer full pedicure so I am going to do that course this month X

I find it really hard if a client doesn't return I've had 3 ladies not come back no feedback nothing :-/ it happens though but have quite a few regulars now, it helps working in a large office. I also offer sculptures which are a hit especially when clients see you can patch up a nail if not do a full set they are amazed by it

I gave out some business cards up the town centre today fingers crossed
