Hello!
My names Leanne, I am desperately wanting to get back into a Hair & or Beauty salon again! I qualified in hair in 2010 and after working in a salon for 8 month they let me go as they couldn't afford to keep me on and I couldn't find another salon so that's when I turned my hand to beauty work! After qualifying in all my beauty I started working in a salon for just a Saturday morning doing express manis/pedis. I then started my own mobile business in June last year and that was doing ok, but January this year I suffered muscle damage in my right elbow similar to tennis & golfers elbow, and therefore haven't been able to work. Although I've had physio and I am receiving ongoing treatment
I am trained in Beauty - manis/pedis, eyelash/eyebrow tinting, Indian head massage, make-up application, Gel Nail Extensions
As for hair, I have lost my confidence with cutting and colouring and I would need to do a refresher course or be retrained. But I specialise in hair-ups and have brought salons I worked in repeat business for this.
I am asking if there are any salon owners that are willing to take me on free of charge maybe one or two days a week so that I can get back into the swing of things, or so that it could maybe turn into a career. I would appreciate anything! Please get in touch if you are in a situation to help me, I am hardworking and willing to learn, polite, always on time and a good employee.
