Hi guys, im wanting to polish up my hair up skills. Does anyone know of anyone good courses available in England?? Preferably Manchester/London. Thank you!

Iv just got a booklet through from loreal most courses priced £95! Iv found the courses good aswell!

I just brought some dvd's from ebay and found them fantastic (bridal/toni guy etc) as it also offered me different hairstyles from around the world and also different decades.

i was going to do some courses but adding up the cost of doing several and the dvd's, i found the dvd's more cost effective and my friends were happy to get free hair styles lol.

Do you use loreal at your salon? We were sent the brochure im sure its called 'code' or something i will repost tomorrow when iv looked at work i couldnt believe it when i saw the prices so used to seeing three digits! Im planning on going to four of them at that price

Yeah I've got that too, CODE was free with hairdressers journal last week..i was also happy to see reasonably priced courses as i have had to fork out triple figures in the past. week

What were the names of the DVD's? Which could you recommend the most? Did they demonstraight the techniques slowly enough to follow ok?

I am mobile but use L'oreal - I've just been to the academy in Manchester and didn't see anything there .. Where can I get the brochure from ?

Maybe ask someone at reception or ring loreal, we just recieved ours in the post
