Hi Guys

Im interested to hear fellow Geeks opinions on the HD brow course!! I totally get that is is a very well known and reputable brand which attracts businesses just by the name , but is the course really worth £1000 . I am struggling to understand how teaching someone to eyebrow wax, tint , thread and shape can add up to £1000 . And i am also sure that when i enquired about this course abut two years ago it was £600. Thoughts an opinions would be great as i am qualified in all waxing , threading , tinting so would it be worth it.

I think only you can decide if its worth it. The course is £1000 plus vat but you get a kit valued at around £400 as well which always seems to get overlooked.

I have been waxing, plucking and tinting brows for years and did the course as my daughter (who I employ) and I felt there were some brows that we just didn't know what to do with and we often felt we could have done more.

We trained last month and I thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt a lot. However, I'm appalled that they don't have testers, you have to pay normal trade price and they also do really good deals on packages including training, salon furniture etc which they only told me about after training and they would not then do me the package deal.

I feel some areas need a lot of improvement. Everyone I talk to is lovely but they just don't seem to be quite professional enough.
I think the company has grown quickly and they seem to be paying catch up.

Thanks Vicki

I agree it will be up to me to decide if it's for me . You are not the only person I have been in contact with that has mentioned the poor standard of customer service . I'll have a long think about it and look into it a little bit more but thanks for advice regarding the furniture as I will know in advance x

What you will Probably find is that people who have paid it and done it either loved most or all of it. Like with any other training company there will
Always be the odd problem. I found their customer service great.

And then you'll find some people that haven't done it say no it's not worth it. What I'm trying to say is I don't think anyone ever regrets spending their money with HD in the long run, they may have a few little irks now again but everyone gets that, and they are the opinions that really matter, because how can someone say it's not worth it when they haven't been on it? It's a bit like never driving a...ok wrong analogy I have no idea about cars. It's a bit like never eating at Alaine Ducasse at The Dorchester, but giving your opinion on why it's not worth the money.
