Hi! So I've finished my training and now have a few weeks to practice for my assessment.
I need to practice a sculpted gel French extension, so I need to buy some pink and white hard gel. They all say UV gel, am I being daft or can I just get the UV stuff and cure it for longer in my LED lamp?
I only ask as funds are getting low and I only have an LED lamp, and all I can find is UV hard gel!
Any info massively appreciated!

Hi, I use Gellux hard gel however most can be used in both they usually say UV/LED and you cure under LED lamp for 30secs - uv lamp 2 mins x

Thanks! So the ones like in my picture that just say UV, there's no way I can do that in an LED lamp with an adjusted curing time?

No. Not all products can be cured in a LED. Whichever brand of gel you decide to buy you must then purchase the lamp for that brand, whether it be traditional UV or LED. If the brand can be cured in either then I would recommend LED as they are quicker and you never need to replace bulbs.
