I "think" we are going to call him Okami ,
after the PS2 / Wii game ! about a white wolf who is the incarnation of Amaterasu the sun goddess .

the game its self was absolutely stunning , Japanese calligraphy style and I think it fits ,

the best bit , that i didnt know is this ,the work okami when written in japanise sylmbles kanji has diffrent meanings depending on how you draw the word i stole this bit from wikkapedia
Ōkami (大神?, literally "great god", "great spirit" or "wolf" if written as 狼


also he is a red husky so looks alike lol
