hi all, a bit of advice please, my daughter is starting a hair and media make up course at college, she has got to buy the Ilamasqua kit which is £150 but only includes basic supplies, 3 foundations, eye palette, gel liner, 2 lippys and 2 blushers. I therefore need to bulk it out with more can anyone recommend a brand that is good but won't break the bank please?

As your daughter is starting a course I would suggest she takes advice from her course tutor first about what to get. Otherwise you may end up spending a lot on items she might never use.
Also, her training centre may stock products for her to supplement her kit.
Good luck with the course!

Make up revolution, mua, freedom make up & sleek are all really reasonably priced brands with some good quality products. You can pick all of those up at superdrug.
Or
zoeva have some decently pigmented palettes that won't break the bank.

It all Depends on how much you want to spend and what she needs.

Most of my kit now is a mixture of Mac, urban decay, illamasqua, Nars, makeup geek etc. But that has taken me a long time to build up.
Hope that helps
x
