Hey guys, im new to this website but i have to say im impressed lots of usefull imformation on here. Right basically ive been out of hairdressing since 2005 due to having epilepsy, i was forced to leave my job after being bullied by my employer. I am now in much better health, but i feel i couldnt work in a salon after the horrible times if had in past. i really like the idea of going mobile im thinking, of doing this as a fill in job to see how it goes, as ive been out of the loop for a bit can anyone recommend what id need to get going? i know about insurance advertising id do payg regarding stock. ive noticed a few ppl mentioning to contact local council ?? any help you could give me would be much appreciated .

look forward to hearing your ideas

You will need public liability insurance, I went with simply business as my insurer, there great and under a 100.00 for the whole year! You will need to go and register with the council as a professional hairdresser and you will revive a certificate , you might also need to declare tax to revenue, but under 10 thousand a year you don't need to I think! And then you will need supplies like tint, electrical ect, get registered with Adel, and Ashton and fincher! Not open to public and great trade prices! And then advertising for the area, also go on some courses as you might need to refresh the memory :) good luck!
