tweezerhappy, hahahah yer gas but right the money is equivalent to a holiday

grrrrrrrr, i hate this feeling my guts says 70 percent do it, 30 dont
I JUST WANT SOMEONE TO COME PM ME THAT HAS DONE IT
GRRRRR

Well my hubby was goin to pay for the course, travel and accomodation for my birthday. I was all for it. It would have been good for me as all I can do is tint. Can't do waxing or threading so I would have got a lot out of the course. But it's a lot of money and I decided I wanted a quiet, relaxing holiday just the 2 of us more than k wanted to do the course.

It's deffo alot of money and is it really that popular??????
The people that have been on this course are they confident in eyebrow shaping?????
Why do threading and wax on the brows???????
As for tinting the brows and then telling you to pencil the brow in once the tint has faded,,, someone said that the tint lasted 5 days,,,,,well whats the point of the tint then??????
I'm not sold on this yet,,,, I did LVL lashes and they were ment to be the next big thing,,,,,that was 3 years ago and ermmmmmm sorry but never kicked off,,, it was too much like to eyelash perm which isn't that popular and at £45 when a perm is £25.
I can see the same thing here,,,,,,HD brows over priced again.

Ok i think ill leave it

sad face hahahah :(

Sorry hun, dinner interupted  yes, it was a copy and paste from someone elses thread. I'm with Lynne on this one, I think it's overpriced for what it is, I don't trust anyone who promises the moon on a stick but tells me it's a secret, and I honestly think if you are already trained and more importantly happy with the way you do brows then it wouldn't be worth it, but if you are a novice, then yes, why not learn it all under one roof.
The original thread made interesting reading but no, it didn't tempt me.
I'd sooner have a day with Kim and for that kind of money I could have a couple of days 121 with Kim.

Apples and Oranges,

you are quoting from a person you know, then talking about something you don't.

You can have as many 121 as you want, you would not lean this system.

No its not the tint stated on here, I would also point out that you also use BROWN & GREY, so the dark theory is wrong again.

I can submit a course to BABTEC, get it approved easy, done that been there.

You have to look how long your trainers have been real masters of this, search is your friend, (pm for details).

My post was not last week its in my blog way into last year.

I loved it, but that's me and not you. we made our money back fast through promoting the service, you can be the worlds best darts player, if you only play at home, will anyone ever know???

It's funny that noone really has defended HD brows on this,,, even any geeks that have done the course.
I just feel that your buying into HD brows without seeing anything just 7 steps,,, and the whole get the celebritie eyebrow thing,,,erm what celebrities are having these brows if you want jordan's eyebrows well are they HD brows?????? to me HD brows is something I can do myself if a client bought in a picture and said I want those eyebrows.
Rockateer deffo invest it in something else and if you feel that your missing out on the whole HD brows do your own thing on this,,,, you can wax, pluck, tint and even teach clients how to use a bit on pencil you'll be amazed how scared people are to try this themselves and there you go celebritie brows the celebritie way.

To be fair I think SusanEvian has been on the course and loved it.

No I am happy and have defended this, my post was way into last year. I really feel none of you on here know anything about good brows, Lynne you are really knocking this, but I have to say I have looked at your own brows, we call them "golden arches" anyone who has been on the training will no the slide.

I cant believe you all rate your brow skills..as what our salon now turns out daily is far superior. I answered all the wrong (guessing )facts in my last post,

Hang on a minute, I was just defending you up ^^^^ there!

It was also a joke. And it was directed at the course, not you personally.
I said that you HAD been on the course, and you had loved it. You responded by getting personal about me and criticising my eyebrows!
Let's have a look at yours.

I don't think anyone can say their brows are superior without knowing what others peoples brows are like!
'I really feel none of you on here know anything about good brows'-that really is quite rude!

LADS LADS LADS

this is ridiculous, it is NOT to be turned into a slagging match of others brows please

i wanted honest advice on this topic, i am still confused but Su has been very good and privately explained the treatment/course to me so thank you and please stop this personal attack there is no need

much LOVE geeks

This is extremely rude and uncalled for!

Erm... how do you know?

britmacgirl
what are betamax brows???

"betamax" was the 1st ever type of video recorder, i think even before VHS, so i think she means she has "ancient brows", haha,(because by the sounds of it all this normal waxing/shaping/tinting we all do is just like so 2008) haha, although i am sure she has lovely brows and so does lynn for that matter!

i have been following this thread and in all seriousness i think that HD brows may be a great service to offer if you had the clients that would be willing to pay such a price for the "celebrity type brow" BUT everyones client base is different and just would not lend itself to such a treatment. also not everyone wants that type of look. i would love to do the course just to see what all the fuss is about but no.1 cant afford it and no.2 dont have enough clients that would want it, so thats the end of that. its just different strokes for differents folks at the end of the day, whats right for one salon isnt always right for another. great thread though!

Saying this makes you loose all credibility! Also there was no need to pick on Lynne.

What comes across is whether the HD course is worth the money. I guess until you go on it you do not know and there has been a lot of speculation. The ones who have done the training really praise it and say it is worth it. I guess it is subjective - for some it may be the best money ever spent for others maybe not. Nilam and co do have a good reputation and she will charge more for her training time, anyone would with her following and client list. She has obviously marketed herself high end as the HD brand, which we all do at various levels in our own businesses....

Personal comments are not necessary but neither is pre judging something that few peeps have tried either. I spoke to a girl who has her brows done by Nilam and booked to do the course as well and just raved about it.....
