How do I go about building a client base?

I run a FB comp monthly, it's free apart from product cost to do a shellac etc and has got me more likes and shares than my ads plus the winners often become regular x

Your nails are a great advertisement, I found if I had my nails done, especially with something as simple as a glitter accent nail, this drew attention in shops/restaurants locally that I visited, I told them I did nails and gave them a business card, contact the likes of mobile beauticians & hairdressers and ask if they would like to offer packages to include nails for their clients, refer a friend discounts, drop business cards to hairdressers/florists where brides need their nails done, it takes time but you'll get there

Sadly I can't have my nails on show as at the moment I still work in another job which does not allow any sort of vanish.
