i've seen it with acrylic but wondering how to do it with shellac as it's sticky?

I've looked on youtube and can find nothing? thanks :D

I haven't done it but I'm thinking you could brush it onto the cured colour coat like you were doing a rockstar but just put it on the tip and use a slightly damp brush with 99% alcohol to tidy up your smile line or you could use a glitter paste and brush on like a french. I think fingernailfixer has a youtube video about glitter paste.

Right or wrong not sure but this is how i do it:
Prep nails,
Apply base coat and cure,
Apply clearly pink and cure,
Remove sticky layer with dsperse,
apply chosen colour to tips and tidy smile line and cure,
Scrub in chosen glitter on tips and excess glitter should easily brush off from other area of the nail,
Depending on ur preference one or two coats of top coat.

Hth! Xx

You can also mix glitter with your topcoat and paint on as a French tip. Hth xx

ooh all very good ideas :) thank you very much!

For best results I've used the scrub in glitter into cured layer of Shellac a la Rockstar.

My steps:

Dry pep
Scrub fresh
Base coat - Cure
1 coat Strawberry Smoothie - Cure
Wipe with isopropyl alcohol to remove sticky layer
1 coat Zillionaire at tip - Cure
Take glitter with brush, scrub/apply on top of cured Zillionaire
2 coats Top Coat - Cure each
Wipe with isopropyl alcohol to remove sticky layer

This is the way that worked the best for me. No chips as of yet!

When I did tips I base, strawberry smoothy x1 then added glitter just to the tip of the nail scrubbed into the shape I wanted then top coated it's not a strict shape but did the trick HTH x (the only pic I have has my foot in it too sorry)

I found best for me .
Base
Colour on tip, cure
Dab on Glitter
Top coat glitter tip , cure
Swipe to clear any excess glitter with desperse
Top coat over entire nail, file any edges gently
Then final top coat .
Works a treat. Lasts ages .
