Following on from my comments on a tread I thought maybe we can all help each other by sharing our methods to safeguard the all important client list...
Our problem is that our staff book in clients and take their details to input to our booking system etc so they have access to all info if they wanted.
The other problem we are currently facing is staff sharing their self employed role in another salon doing the same thing and not 10 mins from ours, on their social media. This would be fine but our staff have our clients as friends on their social media meaning our clients are not only aware they are working elsewhere but are booking with her.
So what restrictions can we add to the staff handbook and contracts to limit damage?
I have contacted ACAS but am still waiting for them to return my call
