It has taken me 2 hours to remove acrylics that had been done at a NSS salon [emoji24] I officially hate the stuff that has been used. I am fairly new to acrylics and this is the first time I've ever had to soak of someone else's work. How many of you avoid soaking off work done by someone else?

Ask for any work that's not your own to be removed before they come to your appointment! X

I will DEFINITELY be doing this in future. It's just too much of a headache otherwise [emoji53] X

One client took me over an hour to remove and I was soaking and filling in the end I left thin layer on cos it just would come off!!!!

I say any work which I have not done must be removed pre appointment too. Learnt this early on when someone had hard gel on their toes but claimed it was shellac xxx

I haaaaate it when a client comes in having damaged nails due to MMA!! im sick of having to ""fix"" the damage it causes!!
In our shop we ask the client tk soak them off themselves then come in xz

I infill but don't remove anyone else's work.

I don't ever ask clients to remove it before they come to me.

Most people will probably either rip them off at home causing more damage OR find another tech who will remove it for them then continue to go to them.
I'll infill or make sure I warn them of what their nails will be like underneath if they insist on complete removal.
But I charge for my time rather than a standard removal price when it comes to removing other techs work

How much do you charge per how long?

I charge for example manicure price to remove mma as it takes me hour almost and then their nails are totally stuffed and I would insist on them having IBX treatment to follow

I don't infill or remove nails that weren't applied by me! So much easier xx

£10 is my normal soak off price which takes roughly 15 - 20 mins max if I applied the product.

But I'll charge £10 per half an hour it takes me to remove nss.
I use an efile though so that does speed it up a lot
