Hello,

Can anyone tell me the difference between the IBD soak off builder gel and the IBD soak off sculpting gel?

Thanks xx

Oh my god I know right!?!! They suck at explaining the difference. I have the builder gel, I love it but it's a touch runny. I am thinking of getting the sculpting gel to see if maybe its thicker? I find the builder gel easy to sculpt with but if the sculpting gel is less runny I would probably switch.

I use the IBD sculpting gel it's very thick which I think is easier to work with self levels too I love the product really strong too! They didn't have any in capital yesterday to had to go with nsi builder gel hope it's as good

That's really good to know, I'm going to have to grab some of the soak off sculpting gel to play with then. I loooooove the feel of the builder gel, I hope the sculpting gel is similar.

Brilliant, thanks. xx

Are these ones you can use for overlays?? X

The sculpting gel arrived today! It's everything I love about the builder but MORE SO. Still self levels but slower and firm. Oh god I feel giddy!! Building an apex was a dreaaaaaam. And no running into sidewalls, and working without us just so faaaaaast.

Hi I'm trying to find sculpting gel. Would have wanted clear, white and pink but can only find clear on website?? Do you know if they stock white and pink? Xx

Nope just clear. I am working on finding my own pigment ration for a custom blended French pink. Plan on painting on the white with gel polish. A little inconvenient? Yup. But I love the consistency so much that I don't really mind.

Ah that's a shame!!! Wow that sounds clever. Yes suppose paint on white is only other option then. All too complex for me lol x

Sorry just thought- is there a pink builder gel? If so can you use that under / with the clear sculpting? Xx

How easy is this to remove please, i want to offer hard gel but hate all the filing, do you still have to file the bulk off and then wrap this to remove like gel polish or can you just wrap? Does it last as well as a buff off gel? I really like the sound of it! x

The soak of builder and sculpting gels are both clear.

When removing I just wrap, no need to file down.

As an overlay it lasts just as well to me. As an extension I like if but it's different. It's a bit more forgiving. So if I jam the tip of my nail at work it flexes a little to take pressure off my natural nail. So much less painful that way than with hard gel. But it's still super strong, just more forgiving.

*shrug* after wearing both types as both extensions and overlays I honestly see know reason to NOT just go with a soak off gel. YES it would be SOOOOO much more convenient if they had French pink and white builder and sculpting gels for IBD, but performance wise, I really like it. And it's super convenient for practicing on my own hand.

Thank you I'm really liking the sound of this, I think I'll get some to practice on myself and see how it goes x
