Jim and Linda have created this website just for you and others who have any questions, technical or not, about IBX

Home - IBX Nails by Famous Names | Professional Nail Strengthener

Linda is clearly doing an amazing job - all the time she has already given on this site, and private responses (and no doubt many emails via the website), but let's be honest - SG is a go-to for questions, tips and sharing information on all products! I, like many, have followed this thread from the very start but as it gets bigger and more diffused the technical questions will be repeated and the answers already provided will get lost... Was just a thought.

I agree, what was asked weeks ago not often relevant, few other posts on main forum now which is good, means we can read ones we think will help us personally :)

That is a great point, and I of course do not mind answering any questions you have, but we have answered just about everything. What might be helpful is to go to our website at www.ibxnails.com and go to the tab "Why Nails Love IBX" you will see there is a sub title called FAQ's, I think that has just about every question we have been asked, if you don't find your answers there, please feel free to ask me!!!

Just ordered mine, soooooo excited!!

So it's heat for 5 then uv lamp it?

Know it's been covered but there's 24 pages to trawl thru again but what's people using? Saw dashing diva lamp on a website but was over 50 squids :/ xxxxx

The 5 minutes is only the first application, after that it is 3 minutes.

I know repair is advised for use under all gel polish applications but my clients never get white spots etc (some have delamination which I would obviously use repair on) can I just use ibx on its own? Thanks x

Absolutely, if you don't have damage you do not need Repair, you can use just the IBX for strength and protection. If you have delamination, you can spot treat that, no need to do the whole nail.

I would like to thank this group for being so inquisitive and for embracing a new product like IBX. We are excited about the result we have seen with the customers nails we have been doing for the last 8 1/2 month.

I hope I have been able to help answer most of your questions.

I will look forward to meeting you all in a few weeks at The Excel Show. I will be willing and able to answer all questions you may have!

Can you please clarify for me, the heat source you are using? I'm still unsure what to invest in!

Light bulbs don't seem that easy to find at 75-100 w
I'm sure someone said dashing diva?
Minx lamp?
Hair dryer!

Not wanting to spend a fortune, esp as technically it's trial for the new product. Not that I don't have faith :) hair dryer feels unprofessional and too noisy for me. I need to order my heat source ASAP to start using the product next week!

Question for those of you who have used the product already... do the client's nails FEEL stronger after the treatment? e.g.: less bendy? or is it undetectable?

Something like this? Any specifications we should be looking for? That anyone knows of?

Thanks

I'd love to know this too, will the client feel her nails are stronger or will they just not bend or break so easily?

Karaxxx

I've used it on two clients so far and they've both said the nails feel tighter during application, and feel stronger after. I definitely think they feel stronger having felt the clients' nails before and after application, I'm very impressed! No pictures so far I'm afraid as I was a bit pushed for time but I will take some soon.

Xxx

I get my delivery on Monday xxx I cant wait x they say it is for pro's only but when I ordered they didn't want any proof of my qualifications, so I guess any one can buy it which is a bit disappointing x Does anyone know how much to charge yet?:D
