I have bought this one INFRARED HEAT LAMP-PAIN RELIEF, MUSCLE ACHES & TENSION, CIRCULATION & NAIL ART | eBay

I asked Linda if it was ok and got this reply (what a fab woman!! replying to little old me lol)

It look like it would-100 watt bulb is perfect. Just make sure you follow the instructions having the hand 6-8 inches from the light-don’t need it to be hot.

The only downside... no on and off switch so plug in or unplug xxx

I have a similar lamp.….......my father put an 'in-line' switch into the cable for me!
Works a treat, no more plugging in and out!

Ladies - before I order one of these lamps - can you tell me if you have to hold the lamp over the clients nails or is it free standing? Does that make sense?!

Yes that's the one. I don't have it over the nails as such, just pointing towards as it does kick off some heat! If I remember I'll take a pic tomorrow xxx

It doesn't need to. It's low enough that it reaches their nails anyway xxx

Can I ask when using IBX with shellac do you apply the IBX first and then do cuticles with cuticle away or do you cuticle away first and then IBX and then shellac application? Sorry bit confused with all the threads!

Now that's a good idea. Works a treat sat on my CND lamp - gives it just enough height.

Hi there

I got an infra red lamp from Lidl - it sits on top of my CND lamp - and cost £7.00. x

TracyAnn - which Lidl did you get yours in? I'm pretty close to you but I'm having trouble tracking one down and they won't let you call the stores to check stock! Thanks Vikki xx
