Hi guys have you ever used IBX treatment. What do you think and how much do charge for it. Thank you x

Hi
If you search for IBX on here you will find lots of threads discussing it.
Great stuff by the way!

It's great! I agree there are many threads on it already! :)

Everyone is charging diferent. Is it ok to charge £12 for first time and then £10.
With gelpolish £22 and then for a next visit £20

I use it on all my gel polish clients and add £3 wether it's the first time or not but I hardly ever see any new clients anyway.
Only takes and extra 5 mins after the initial treatment.
£33 gel mani with IBX
£35 gel mani IBX and removal

I set the price low so it was a no brainier to clients whether they have it.
It makes my life easier that they have it and it costs next to nothing in product costs

Do you charge £10 for a gel manicure?

Salon price is £15 i do my own prices and at the moment i do only extensions. In salon there is different lady who does gel nails and toes. But i want to do it and add few treatments as well. I read so much about IBX just wondered how much to charge extra. How much for just IBX if client doesn't want any polish, how to advertise for clients that they are interested etc

I just told my clients what it does and said shall we add it to your manicure from now on.
I don't do an IBX alone treatment but add it to a full manicure.
Manicure £21, Manicure & IBX £24

Oh £15 is so cheap! What products do they use???

Can you do proper manicure with IBX? And do you do it before IBX or after?

I do the IBX first then everything else

Yes I do a full mani after the ibx

I do ibx as a stand alone treatment, £10 first session and £6 thereafter

For anyone wanting to know how the IBX company recommends using their products, here is the link. It is a document you can download and print off...

Personally I charge £5 per IBX treatment on top of whatever manicure service they choose .
If they pay for four treatments I give a discount.
It doesn't add much time to the manicure, tbh I feel guilty charging a fiver!

Great link
I find it takes about 20/25 mins first time and 10/15 the second depending how chatty we are lol. That's just stand alone IBX. Time needs to be paid for :) also the use of infra red and UV lamps, it's not like it's a treatment they can do themselves as its a professional only product
Don't feel too guilty! ;)

Why does it take so long blossom? They advised to cut the timings down.

IBX heat 4 min
Cure 30 sec
Repair heat 2 min
Cure 30 sec

=7 min

IBX heat 2 min
Cure 30 sec
Repair heat 1 min
Cure 30 sec

=4 mins

So only 4 mins or so after their first go? Xx

I usually re book them in the heating part
