Right, I'm not very good at wording things BUT I have decided to put together a Valentines pamper package for male clients! I have done the odd eyebrow wax on male clients in the past whilst I was mobile, but the main reason being their girlfriend or mum we're recieving a treatment and they wanted a quick tidy up. However I have never had one male client step through the salon doors and ask for a treatment. With it becoming more and more popular for male eyebrow waxing, spray tans, etc I want to make it more known.

I am just struggling to put together the treatments I want to be in the package, as I dont do massage or spray tanning, so if anybody has any idea's of what to throw in there then thanks
Also I'm struggling for a catchy name for the package! So if anyone can help me with that too then I will be very grateful!

Thanks for reading, hope you can help

Do you do facials? Or you could put some kind of a manicure/pedicure on there. I've had quite a few men come to me for those, as they can really neglect themselves. More often it is the builder type blokes too, as their hands get so dry and damaged.

Men's manicure, foot massage and brow tidy.

How about a Men are from Mars, or simply Mars package for the men and Women are from Venus or Venus package for the women?

xx

Hiya,

We are a unisex salon so we get loads of men through the doors everyday....

As we only specialise in hair removal it is all waxing treatments however we can wax anywhere on the body that there is unwanted hair.
you will obviously need additional training if you were to go down the same route as us with intimate waxing but that aside you can still open up your treatment list to include back, chest, brow nostrils, underarms etc....

I think that if you do, you will be pleasently surpirsed at just how many areas men want hair removal, it is becoming the fastest growing part of the beauty industry and male grooming is nearly making as much money as female grooming, there just aren't enough places that offer the treatments.

How about a tidy up package whereby you do a back or chest wax, brow tidy and nostril and ear wax.. therefore, getting your male clients 'date ready' for valentines. Most men have their hair cut every 3-4 weeks so I imagine that there will be a fair few who will try and wait til close to valentines if they have a date to impress so you could see if there are some local barbers who want to share advertising...if their clients come to you you give them 10% off or vice versa?

Hope this is helpful?

;)

If you're not experienced or trained in mens waxing, then just stick with the brows as you don't want them to end up red raw for Valentine's Day:) If you do a good job it will take years off of them.

hiya i just popped over from hair, mainly because i'm nosy lol, but i wholeheartedly agree with this post, my other half is a big rough Phil Mitchell lokk alike and he loves a mani pedi, at his work they ( 12 male employees, 2 female) they run a bonus scheme where the whole branch gets X amount of money twice a year on the proviso that it is spent on a group activity, after the poor females put up with various bloke activities for a few years, last year it was the girls turn to pick and everyone had a spa day at a local high end spa...my hubby came home looking great, feeling great and he just raved about how much he loved it! i think you have a great idea there, good luck xxx

I'm in the same boat as you - I have sorted my ladies valentines day packaged out and given them appropriate names but I wanted to offer the men something too......Waxing ( Eyebrows, Back ) Facial and Massage ( Neck, Shoulders, Back, Hands and Arms) and possible a manicure too! Men dont like to admit it to their mates, but they love to be pampered too! xxx
