I like that idea, a pair of sandles and he will be well away!!!

Erm ... a scottish but a young lad wont want to be wearing a kuilt (SP)
a greek with a toga ... but the same reason as above
OR a english school boy ... but not very imaginative :o

I like the Australian!!

a beret string of onions draw on a tash and a stripey t shirt .... french man

do you have a check shirt and a sun hat (straw sun hat)?

I dont have any of these items..

He wants to go as Ireland he tells me but how can I make him look like he's irish??

The colours of the Irish flag ... orange, white & green!! I suppose they dress like english!!

yeah exactly what I thought... but I was thinking if all else fails dress him in normal clothes, put a white t shirt over him with a painted or drawn irish flag on the front, they cant help but know then I suppose...

he's now read that idea and isn't impressed.. flaming 10 year olds... ANY ideas for ANY country appreciated.. get your thinking caps on... xxx

PUT HIM IN RIPPED JEANS, CHECKED SHIRT WITH STRAW HAT AND GET A WHIP/LASSOO - HE CAN BE A COWBOY.

yes this has already been thought of, it has to be instantly recognisable to a particluar country..

Have you got a sombrero?

straw hat with some corks tied to it .... any excuse to down a few bottles of wine this evening! x

in this house?? we have very little ..we've just finished an extention so everything that wasn't getting used got charity shopped.. :)

he has a top with BRAZIL on the front, he's now saying if 'we' cant think of anything he'll go with jeans and that top on...

add a poncho and a false moustache and your laughin!

yup suggested this one to him earlier... he says no-way!... I'm dealing with a stubbourn 10 year old who thinks he has dress sense.

put him in a white sheet and draw his face on like egyptions did.

I have just sat with a few flattened cardboard boxes and made my son a stetson hat and he's going as a cowboy afterall, he's not happy with anything else, his dads made him a lasso (sp) which clinched the deal, we've been colouring in the surf board but I have blisters from the scissors where I cut it out from cardboard
I knew that A level in Art would come in at some point, cant remember making stetson hats though...
