Hey everyone so im entering a cut colour and atyle competition in january, my model has fab head of hair currently bleached blonde but no other colour on whatsoever only been bleached the once so great condition. She also has a very long grown out pixie crop so basically ive found myself spoilt for choice with what to do! Do i go black and white? Do i add some.colour in there? Do i take it subtle and natural? Too many ideas! So was just wondering if anybody had any idea on up and coming colours? Model says ANYTHING so its kinda left me unable to.decide.on something! The breif is commercial...any help would be fab :)

Do some lowlights of around 6 in the fringe with some purple too, gently spreading around the side the hair is parted to losing a foil of 6 each row and a foil of purple every other so it fades to nothingness. Think it would be acceptable for a regular client who wants some colour but not to look like a jeffreebstar impersonator. And maybe chop into the hair v severe so it's extremely sharp looking. Xoxo

Don't just go straight in there with a wild guess think about it get yourself a mood board decide a theme then colour choice and placement that's what I always do for comps x

could do some soft pink highlight which would great on the bleach blonde as that seems to be in just now and maybe try quiff the front xx

As much as we give you ideas of things that have been done a lot!! And some that are successful styles, it's all in how you execute it, sit down and do a mood board.

Do you have any idea how to do mood boards? Not a sarcy question but you'd be shocked at how many people don't

Decide what theme your going for, in autumn I'd go for an arctic look, go through the hair mags and find pics all different.
So you've got different pics for the length, colour, texture, fringe, even down to clothes depending on competition your entering.

basically everything you want to either incorporate into your look or use as inspiration.

Thanks so much for your help guys, tried replying the othr day and the server was down and wouldnt let me! Anyways after far too many ideas and three mood boards later (one for cut, one for colour, and my final outcome colaboration) iv finally got my plan togethrr of what to do! (just now at gone 2am!)The big days tuesday now eeek couldnt come soon enough!! Xxx
