Hi,

I'm looking for some advice im wanting to invest in ilac...I've tried it a couple of times with no success chipping peeling all sorts. I've heard loads of good reviews so assuming tech error.
I dehydrate well thinly coat and use there ilac bonder help please xxx

I had no chipping however I did feel the colour I tried in my trial pack needed 3 coats for full coverage. After discussing it on here it seems like that's normal.
I also used the rock hard top coat over my acrylics and the iLac colour but clients complained it was peeling.

I get on with iLac really well, I've only used it on my own nails so far. Only needed 2 coats (this was a dark grey colour tbough) and one coat of top coat, used no bonder and didn't buff the nails. I had no chipping or peeling after 2 weeks. It soaked off like a treat and performed just as well as my other gel polish brands.

So far I'm really happy and had no problem, but in the end choice of brand comes down to personal preference and what works for you and your clients.

What lamp did you use? Dor you have any trouble with other brands at all?

I initially loved ilac and purchased quite a few but I found my bottles went off quite quickly (shelf life 6months) I stock all Shellac and The Gel Bottles so they just weren't getting used very much, and when I did go to use them they were lumpy and bumpy, shaking, stirring wouldn't help so were pretty much unusable. The removal of them was much longer too in my opinion.
Recently not mentioning any names *cough* Ciderella *cough* perked my interest with Cuccio so I had to get a few to try and I just love it! So many options for you, and like Anna said it all comes down to personal preference with what works for you :)

I used my Cuccio Led lamp and no I don't have any issues with other brands.
I just don't have the time for 3 coats per set and repairs

No I haven't and not sure whether to get it or not. I have most of their colours now and thought most of new new ones were very similar.
I need to stop buying so I can do my T3 LED training. I've bought the master kit just need to arrange it. Also decided to treat myself to hair extensions for the first time so I need to stop the nail mail [emoji33]

The colours are released there first then here. Are you in the Cuccio swatch FB group?

I get a good two weeks on my own nails with ilac and my sister in law has just been in Cornwall for a week, in and out of the sea and lots of washing up (against my advice ;) ) and they are still going strong.
