I would rly call The Guild and speak to them, you could ask if you are covered for practising for a course, and have your clients agree to a practise treatment?

Ok I will call to ask I am waiting for cuccio to get back to me I know I have been shown gel application so I'm stressing what would happen if I got sued

If I called it practice would I be able to carry on performing the gel nail treatment

You really need to speak to them, and explain everything you have told us as they will be able to properly advice you about the legal bits. :)

I have spoken to them and they said I must hold the certificate I hope cuccio can find my certificate otherwise I don't know what to do

They also told me a disclaimer for my to practice is not valid what can I do should I carry on working on clients until my course?

Thank you xx

I would think your cuccio certificate covers you just fine.
It is an add on to your full level 2 & 3 quals

Hello yes I am qualified level 2&3 and I also hold a CND acrylic and CND manicure course

I guess you don't have a copy of the certificate either?

If your insurance isn't valid for working on your clients, unfortunately I'd advice you not to do these clients, as not only would you not be covered if anything goes wrong, but it also sends out the wrong message regarding your professionalism.

I'm really sorry, but let's keep our fingers crossed that cuccio certificate shows up! X

Oh what a joy! Again you have to make sure this is the case with the insurer. I'm so happy for you! :)

Congrats, so happy for you! It's always better to be safe than sorry! X

Most insurance companys require a certificate now. You said you had a cuccio gel certificate. This would cover you with most insurance company's no matter the brand. I'm with the guild and it's fine with them..check first x

Hey yes I checked and they said as long as I have been taught how to apply a gel polish I can then decide which gel to use I don't have to stick to a specific brand I am so glad I checked I'm booked onto the IBD course thought just to be extra safe and fully qualified

X
