Yeah the collage in Birmingham said it’s better not to use them!

She was very vague tbh but when a college lecturer warns you off, it puts you off

That's understandable.
I am with Salon Gold and they seem to be one of the popular insurers. I haven't had to make any claims so haven't put them to the test I must admit, but I haven't heard anything bad about them.

I think it's worth bearing in mind that insurance companies might look for loopholes to avoid paying out if they can so read the small print of the policy carefully, and just as importantly, read the small print on each product you use because if it states somewhere that a patch test for example should be carried out and you haven't done so and a client has a reaction, they won't pay out. If you need clarification about something, give them a call. I phoned them up some time ago to clarify the Nail lamp situation because there are so many nail techs using any old lamp. They were a little vague about it and the girl I spoke to had to go and speak to a colleague but the answer was if the brand sell their own lamp they would expect you to use it unless you had confirmation from the company that another lamp would be compatible, but it's not actually written in the policy.

I use Insync and they are fab, cover me for treatments no other issuer would too.
