HI

help! have been a member of this brilliant site for a couple of months, this is
the first thread i have posted usually just take in all the helpfull info your site gives to new nail technicians. Qualified in January of this year at my local
college VCTC in M&P, Nail enhancments (L&P), and Nail Art. I work also Full Time
and have been doing nails quite regular since passing only a couple of weeks ago
it started to really kick off and was constantly getting bookings, but it all seems
to have died off now and only 1 person has been coming back regular, but i will
not let it dishearten me as i enjoy it so much i will not give up yet.
Anyway that was my introduction now i need some help from anyone who would please offer some advice.

My clients nails have grown quite long and she has asked me if i can do a
natural overlay on her own nails with some nail art, her nails are not
extremely long but the last time i did a natural overlay was at college
and and i am panicing now and i need a refresh offwhat i'm doing and what
nail art ideas could i do. Thanks so much for your help in the meantime i'll

Hiya and congrats on your first post...youre no longer a lurker, lol!
When I do my overlays, I treat it the same as working over a tip, in other words, still use p&w and still build a slight apex in zone 2.
When you do your zone 1 though you need to extend a just little of your product over the natural nail free edge to 'cap it' and stop it from pulling away from the enhancement because this can allow dirt to get trapped or chip off etc.
Be careful not to file of the 'capped edge' on the finished nail.

Thanks for all your advice will go through the search site now.

How do you do that Glo if you've got to file it? Do you mean just go easy?
