I work for PRO Hair & Beauty (Salon Services magazine) and we have recently launched our Rising Star awards, for anyone who has been working in the industry for 3 years or less.
Our hair categories are:
Hair Apprentice/Student of the Year
Colour Talent of the Year
Hair Stylist of the Year (hair-up)
Hair Stylist of the Year (cut/style)
Barber of the Year
You can enter here by uploading your images (as high-quality as possible please!) and answering a few short questions: http://www.salon-services.com/pro-awards/
Winners will have their work published in the magazine (sold nationwide) and on our blog, certificates/window stickers for their salon or business, and industry masterclasses. So if you're new to the industry, get involved! If any of you super geeks on here have any rising stars in your salons/businesses we'd also love to hear from them
. Every entrant also nominates a mentor - so there's a chance of an award for you, too!
