Hi everyone,
I was wondering if someone could give me some advice please. I've gone mobile after having my little one and without the other girls in the salon I seem to have lost my colouring confidence. I have a client that has come back to me, I used to colour her hair about 8 years ago with a 9.1 + 30vol. Since then she has gone brown then had bleach highlights to lift the brown out, since changing her hair from 9.1 she has never been happy. I have highlighted her hair since with just bleach + 20vol, at her request. It looks fine, just v blonde and not to my taste. Anyway she is about a base 7 naturally and wants to go back to 9.1 but she has sooooo many bleach highlights in there that I'm worried it is going to look brassy against her highlights. I'm planning to put 9.1 on her roots and then run some bleach highlight through the top to break the roots up, do you think it will be ok? I've got 13 years experience but seen having my little one and going on my own I feel like a trainee!!!:sad:

Your best bet is to do a test piece if your worried. Personally i dont think you need to worry about it looking brassy as you are simply toning the bleach down to a 9.1. Use 9.1 with 30's on roots and then 20's on the ends. Whats the condition of her hair? Whats the tone of her current blonde? You could always use majirel on roots and then 9.1 in diarichesse on ends

Thank you so much for your reply. Great idea to tone down the ends, actually never thought to do that. See told you I'd lost my confidence. Do you think just run it through for 10 mins because the ash on the bleach? xx

Yeah id come through for the last 10 or 15 depending on the condition, if its not too bad id leave it for 15. And dont worry it will come flooding back when u get back in the swing we all need a little reassurance sometimes! Let me know how u get on :)
