Hi, I get the client to sit on a comfy chair and then I sit on another chair provided by the client, usually a dining chair.

Hi there,
I use one of these. Folds up, small enough to fit into my bag and light. Just make sure client is higher than you for their comfort and easier for you.
Search foldable step stool online.
