My dad just singed his hair! Any advice?!

Ok, so this is a weird one! .. My dad was just lighting a bonfire.. Had it going great and started to get carried away poking it and chucking anything he could find on it and well.. Got a little too close and has singed the front of his hair!! .. Its gone a gingery looking colour and feels like a Brillo pad!! .. Is there anything he can do so it looks mildly normal or am I right in telling him there's nothing he can do!? Xx

hi, my husband keeps doing this with our woodburner! men!
only option is to cut it off, if you want to be carefull and stand for hours snipping individual hairs back to 'good' hair you can. best of luck!

Lol, I know, men ai! .. My mum and dad have a wood burner at their house too and it's like his little toy, but he's now developed this absolute love for fire which is proving to be a nightmare! .. Hmm I told him that would be the case, but he said he would rather leave it and let the singed hair grow out because it is singed right to the root in some patches meaning he would need to have a skin head which for him is a big no no!! Xx
