Hi ladies, I'm stuck! Lol! Two questions.

I have glitters, rhinestones, etc and have recently purchased the additives kit and an extra effect. I've just received 50 colour pops and am desperate to have a play! I just don't know where to begin?

Also, as I'm mobile I'm just wondering if you carry EVERYTHING around with you? To keep what I carry as light as possible I currently have a bag for each kit, eg shellac kit, acrylic kit, regular manicure kit. Maybe I should have a nail art kit? Or even a nail/nail art kit containing things I'd definitely use whether they have shellac, acrylic, etc then a separate kit for things like acrylic?

Can anyone give me advice please on how you operate?

Sorry if these seem daft questions, I just have all this stuff and don't know what to do, pleasssseee help.

Also, feel that some nail art works better with one system or another, eg if someone's booked in for acrylics and the want some of the CND additives added I'd have to do shellac but obviously they'd only be booked in for acrylics/nail art so I'd only have allotted time for that treatment and only brought that kit??

See where I'm going ladies? X

I know the feeling...

I have a big case with my acrylics, gel enhancements etc, this includes few basic polishes, oils, hand cream etc etc, then have kit with uv gels, lights, pots and potions lol... Have a separate kit with all my nail art, glitters, powders, 3D, decals, strippers etc etc but my glitters are in a zip container so can seperate if need them just for rockstar toes etc and then anther with mani and pedi case and some roo zip bags for all my polishes, so can grab them if needed.

So much and all different colours so know what to grab at a glance.

But omg its madness... And I know when add tanning, waxing will be even worse lol

For my art nails I have done loads of clear nail wheels, which I've in a little zip lock bag, which gives ideas of what I can do, so when asked I can show them.

Example, 2 nails on wheels are done in to uv gellux colours, brown and purple, I then do lots of different examples with these as base... (Hope that makes sense)

Aw thanks so much for your reply hunni. Really appreciated and good to know someone else shares my pain lol (meant in a nice way ha ha).

You've helped me clear my thoughts (hug smiley!).

I think I'll get absolutely everything together and lay it out then make up one or two bags:

- One with essentials that I'm likely to use in every nail treatment - eg scrub fresh, cuticle away, files, nippers, wrist rest, etc - Then another other with all nail art stuff - eg glitters, gems, stripers additives, etc

These I'll take to every appointment along with my shellac/manicure/acrylic kits etc.

For colour wheels/pops I'll maybe then do several to keep in each kit.

Interested to know what others do.

I have a beauty box/trolley with 3 tiers. The bottom, biggest part is full of all the essentials for everyone and everything, this includes any nail art items i might use. The next has enhancement related items and the top has gelish items etc. I can remove the enhancements or gelish tier if i'm just doing one or the other or take it all if i have an enhancement client who wants colour and nail art.

Its a heavy box but has wheels and a handle. i try to think of how it must be keeping me fit carrying all this stuff around all day  xx

This is the one i have Tanzania black croc beauty trolley - beauty trolleys - Tanzania trolley case UK

I use one large bag with wheels to carry my lamps, lotions, oils, cotton, etc.....things I use for every appointment. Then I have a case for all my waxing, one for my gels & shellac, and one for my regular polish and nail art supplies. When I start for the day all of it goes in the car, then I just grab what's needed for each client. Plus if the client changes their mind on what to have, it's easy enough to go to the car ad grab a different case.

Also, feel that some nail art works better with one system or another, eg if someone's booked in for acrylics and the want some of the CND additives added I'd have to do shellac but obviously they'd only be booked in for acrylics/nail art so I'd only have allotted time for that treatment and only brought that kit??

you can use additives with more than Shellac! if you're using gels or acrylics too, just mix them into the gel or powder! super easy :)

as far as nail art ideas - try looking through images on google or watching some youtube vids. loads of inspiration there!
