Oh right sorry! Ok no I just put it on top of the polish. Pick up a small bead then your bow or gem and hold it in place for a bit while acrylic sets. then add your gel topcoat over the whole nail to secure further and to finish the nail. The bead shouldn't be too big though just enough to secure the bow in place
