So a client had her hands and toes done with shellac gotcha, she went on holiday and her toes went completely white and her nails had splotches of white but all still on fine, very strange never see it before, she also said they did it in the first day didn't put suncream on, didn't go in the pool or sea? Can just the sun do this? Any advise we can give to clients going on holiday?

CND Shellac pinks are well known for their fading issues, Hot Pop Pink, Gotcha, Lobster Roll are just 3 I can think of off the top of my head that it happens with. Advising your clients to make sure they keep suntan lotion off the surface of their nails, or wipe them immediately after application can help, but to honest there isn't much else you can do. My client experienced fading in Newfoundland, it was snowing and -15degrees most of the time but the sun is more intense so they faded really quickly.
