Let's face it, there aren't many things that brands aspire to more than being able to write up a press release that announces the opening of a flagship store in one of the world's coolest postcodes...New York City. Last week, it was Essie's turn to open their Big Apple flagship doors at hair salon Samuel Shriqui on the Upper East Side between Madison and Park.
The salon opened on 26th June and showcased interior designs by Peter Millard who was responsible for creating the Essie-inspired vision. The salon's bright white interiors are set off by leather love seats dyed to match Essie's iconic colours including Madamoiselle and A-List.
"It's the first Essie salon of its kind in the world. The partnership with L'Oreal Professional and Samuel Shriqui will make it a colourful success," says Essie Weingarten, founder and global creative director of Essie Cosmetics.
The flagship store will offer over 250 shades of Essie with manicure prices starting at $25 (£20) and pedicures from $65 (£41).
