I've been a qualified nail tech for 4 years now and i have my own business from home.
I have regular clients and never really have any problems with them. The odd quick fix here and there but my clients usually come back around every 3 weeks for infills with all nails still in tact.
I had two clients in yesterday for nails. A few hours after they'd left one of them messaged me saying one had come off :( so I went straight round and fixed it. A few hours after that I had the other girl tell me that one of hers had fallen off so Im now going round tomorrow to fix that one!
I'm so disheartened and embarrassed! This has never happened to me in the 4 years of doing nails and I just can't believe it's happened twice within the space of 24 hours with the same clients who came in together.
What could I have done wrong?! :( has this happened to anybody else?

Gel or l&p? To come off that quickly means they weren't adhered properly. I assume your prep is fine because you've lots of experience, so if it's gel, check your bulbs. Also if gel, hand placement in the lamp.

Did it come off in one piece?

It was gel and yes I think they did

I'd suggest checking your bulbs too, do you know if both clients lost a nail from the same side? That would suggest it's something to do with your lamp or hand placement. I've had some clients move my lamp to the side to make it more comfortable but then their hand's in at the wrong angle so some nails don't cure properly. Just a thought x
