This is a big deal. For the first time, MAC haven't selected the celebrity of the moment to design a collection; instead they've been savvy and gone to the best of the best. The make up company have collaborated with industry 'Godmother' Marian Newman to create two new nail lines for the Autumn/Winter season.
The big reveal took place at Lake Como where press people (much luckier than me!) where flown out so that they could get the low down on MACs new offerings before anyone else.
Marian was introduced on to the stage by MAC senior artist Kery Blair (The Nail Junkie) to talk us through the new lines: Nail Transformations (7 top coats that slick a veil over the natural nail or colour to transform the effect) and A Novel Romance (4 crème colours affording depth and a 3D effect).
The collections are due to land on shelves in the summer according to those in the 'know'...what this space for more info!
