In the summer, we announced the launch of a new initiative from Nail Harmony UK that offered ten lucky youths (aged 16-25) the chance to break into the nail industry.
The 'Gelish Gives Back' competition will select five winners from London and five winners from the North to be given two days of free education with Nail Harmony educators, a qualification in manicure and Gelish soak-off gel polish and a full kit with all they need to launch a career.
The competition aims to harbour and develop new creative talent and the first five winners from London have been announced. The winners are Chantell Etheridge, Alexandra Murray, Charlotte Bones, Emma-Jane Butler and Ellie Parker.
"We feel that we are just at the tip of the Gelish iceberg after continued year-on-year growth, constant celebrity attraction, TV programmes and an ever-growing Harmony Army Team," explains George Smedley, director of Nail Harmony UK. "We are so excited to offer others the opportunity to share the success we have generated so far and continue to gain year on year in this recession proof industry."
The winners from the North will be announced later this month.
Until then...geek on!
