Need some advice

Morning everyone ,

The other week I had a new client I done a gel overly on her natural nails followed by a gel polish for her holiday they were lovely but only lasted 4 days , she said she was in the sea everyday for at least a hour at a time does this affect the treatment ? Thanks

It certainly can. Did you know she was going on holiday? What specific holiday aftercare advice did you give?

Yeah , I just told her regular cuticle oil , try and keep them out the water as much as you can and also dry them once out the water ? Is there other advice I should of gave her ? X

Also the combination of high temperatures, sun screen or insect repellent containing DEET can damage the nails. I recommend keeping a pack of baby wipes with them to keep the nails clean followed by applying oil.

You would need to check with IBD manufacturers for a definitive answer. Remember also that for your insurance to remain valid they require that you always follow manufacturers instructions.
